A flawless canvas deserves a commanding hand.
The Instruments

A flawless canvas deserves a commanding hand.

Professional makeup brushes, curated to the same zero-compromise standard as the protocol itself. Three tiers. One verdict: no streaks. Ever.

We spent the formulas building your skin — PDRN, peptides, elemental gold. These are the instruments that finish the work: ultra-soft synthetic fibers dense enough to lay foundation like a second skin, weighted handles engineered for control, travel cases that keep the arsenal pristine. Application is not an afterthought. It is the final phase of the architecture.

Your canvas is engineered.

Your application should be, too.

Why The Instrument Matters

You don’t apply a $155 cream with your fingers.

01

Why does the brush matter as much as the formula?

Application controls the finish. Dense, flexible fibers deposit product evenly across the skin — no streaks, no patching, no waste. A poor tool undoes in thirty seconds what your protocol spent weeks building. The instrument is the last step of the architecture, and it is not optional.

02

What makes a makeup brush professional-grade?

Three things: fiber density (how much product the head holds and releases on command), shed resistance (a professional brush does not leave evidence on your face), and balance (a weighted handle does the control work, so your hand doesn’t have to). Every instrument we carry clears all three.

03

Why synthetic fibers instead of animal hair?

The same reason our formulas are strictly cruelty-free: we don’t compromise ethics for performance — and with modern synthetics, we don’t have to. Non-porous synthetic fibers absorb less product, work flawlessly with liquids and creams, rinse clean, and stay hygienic. Animal hair lost this argument years ago.

The Canvas Comes First

The instruments finish what the protocol builds.

Makeup applied over an engineered canvas behaves differently. LUMINARA lays the peptide foundation. LéRA seals the morning with SPF 50+ and an instant tone-up blur. Then — and only then — the instruments deploy. Skin first. Artistry second. Both, without apology.

The Concierge Briefing

Before you choose your instruments.

Which MAANGE brush set should I start with?

If you wear foundation daily and want one tool that earns its place, start with the flat-top kabuki — it covers foundation, concealer, and bronzer in a single brush. If you travel or are building your first kit, the 4-piece dual-ended set covers a full face in four handles. If you do brows, eyes, contour, and detail work, the 20-piece set is the complete command center and the best cost-per-brush in the lineup.

How often should I clean my makeup brushes?

Foundation and concealer brushes: weekly — they hold liquid product and touch your skin barrier daily. Powder, blush, and eye brushes: every two weeks. Use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, reshape the head, and dry flat with the fibers hanging off a counter edge so water never pools in the ferrule. Clean instruments protect the clean canvas your skincare built.

Do synthetic brushes work with liquid and cream makeup?

They excel at it. Synthetic fibers are non-porous, so they deposit liquid and cream formulas onto the skin instead of drinking them into the brush. That means truer coverage, less product waste, and a faster rinse at cleaning time. Every brush in this collection runs synthetic fiber — and the entire lineup is cruelty-free, consistent with every formula we make.

Will these brushes shed?

Shed resistance is one of the three standards an instrument must clear to be carried here. The fibers are anchored in secure ferrules with balanced handles — wood on the single and quartet, metal on the 20-piece. A stray fiber in the first wash is normal for any new brush; ongoing shedding is not, and our 60-day guarantee covers it.

Can I apply makeup right after my skincare protocol?

Give your final layer sixty seconds to set. In the morning that layer should be LéRA — its SPF 50+ tone-up finish is engineered as a primer-grade canvas, which is exactly why makeup glides over it. Dense kabuki heads press foundation into that canvas without disturbing the layers underneath.

What is your return policy on brushes?

Same standard as the formulas: 60 days, no interrogation. If an instrument doesn’t perform, it doesn’t belong in your arsenal — send it back for a full refund.
